MICA, CERAMIC or SHEATHED BAND HEATERS
LAIYUAN Co., LTD are designed for the heating of cylindrical metal parts and also for the indirect heating of fluids through a wall (pipework, vessels, reservoirs, etc.) up to 7000 W, 700 °C, 400 V.
LAIYUAN Co., LTD offers three different technologies in order to meet all customer requirements and applications.
Mica band heaters are made of a resistive wire or band insulated between two mica plates. This assembly is protected by an aluminium sheet with high corrosion and heat resistance.
Designed for a maximum operating temperature of 350°C, these band heaters can be manufactured in one or several parts to facilitate installation and for large diameters.
They are equipped with a screw fixing device and with threaded terminals, plug or cables for electrical connection.
As an option, mica band heaters can be offered as a waterproof version for diameters ≤ 80 mm with a thermocouple or with drilled holes or notches.
Ceramic band heaters comprise a resistive wire inserted into a ceramic core. These core elements are hinged, giving the heating band high flexibility.
A stainless steel or Inconel sheet equipped with fixing screws protects the heating band assembly and enables it to be mounted on the part to be heated.
Suitable for a maximum operating temperature of 700 °C, ceramic heating bands can be connected to the power supply via threaded terminals or cables.
Sheathed band heaters are comprised of a tubular heating element shaped according to the diameter of the part to be heated and held in place by an external clamping band which acts as a reflector.
Waterproof and robust, these band heaters are particularly suitable for harsh conditions (vibration, humidity, dripping water, etc.) up to a maximum heating temperature of 450 °C.
They can be connected to the power supply by threaded terminals or cables.
Sheathed band heaters can be manufactured in one or several parts and equipped with a thermocouple fixed to the clamping plate.
